The First Post For BlogStrut.com

I will start by introducing myself, as you may be wondering who I am, and why I can speak with authority about blogging.

My name is Tim Erway, and I've been blogging since 2001, personally starting 9 blogs, and contributing to many more. In early 2002, I posted an entry that made me over $70,000.00 in just a couple of months.

If it sounds incredible or unbelievable, I completely understand…. I couldn't believe it myself. I will share the full details of the story in another post, but the short of it is, we posted the right topic, at the right time that generated a swarm of traffic and converted nearly 100 new customers into a high-end service we offered at the time.

Since then, I've been a true believer in blogging as a business, and it's the reason I'm launching this blog. The name is BlogStrut, quite fitting for a blog focused on topics like blog marketing, blog design and monetization, don't you think?

Anyway, I intend to post a few times a week, or when I have something important, helpful or relevant to share with you. I will not post for the sake of posting, as I'm a true believer in providing real value, which I intend to do with each and every post.

I want to make this blog interactive, and I invite your participation in posts that have comments turned on. Speaking of comments, I have TURNED OFF the no follow links, meaning if you post and contribute, the links will be followed by the search engines.
